Best Doctor for the year 2008
Dr. Mohan Rajan, Chairman and Medical Director of Rajan Eye Care Hospital received the Award for Best Doctor for the year 2008 recommended by Tamilnadu Physically Handicapped Federation nominated by Government of Tamilnadu. The award was given to him in the Independence day Celebrations function by Honourable Chief Minister Mr. M. Karunanidhi. The award is in recognition of services rendered to the Physically disabled people.
