Chennai Vision Charitable TrustThe Chennai Vision Charitable Trust was founded in 1996 with the aim of eradicating curable blindness in rural Tamil Nadu. Some of its many worthy achievements till date (March 2022) are

  • Conducted more than 4500 Free eye camps in and around Chennai
  • Screened more than 1100000 patients
  • Performed more than 115000 free Cataract + IOL surgeries
  • Performed more than 6000 Corneal transplant surgeries
  • Distributed more than 270000 free spectacles and medicines
  • Screened more than 365000 school children

Blind Free India – A Reality Project

Interested in helping the blind receive the gift of sight? This campaign is a unique and ambitious project through which your active and extended support will help under-privileged patients to be operated free of cost on the dates specified by you every year.
