What We Do

If you have a refractive error such as Myopia (nearsightedness), Hyperopia (farsightedness), Astigmatism (distorted vision) or Presbyopia (reading difficulty), refractive surgery is a method for correcting them. This surgical procedure is used to adjust your eye’s focusing ability by reshaping the cornea, or clear, round dome at the front of your eye.

At Rajan Eye Care Hospital we use the most sophisticated and advanced refractive procedure called LASIK (Laser Assisted Insitu Keratomileusis), where an Excimer Laser is used to reshape the cornea. LASIK has many benefits as it is painless and restores perfect vision in around 15 minutes! The patient has none or very little side effects and can enjoy the gift of sight for a lifetime. Those who have undergone such treatment have rediscovered their freedom from spectacles and contact lenses, giving their confidence a boost and vastly improving the quality of their lives.
