She graduated from Govt Kilpauk medical college in 2006. She has completed her Diploma in ophthalmology form Aravind eye hospital Madurai and received the DR.G.Venkatswamy gold medal for the same. She did her DNB from Rajan eye care. She has done her long term fellowship in glaucoma from Aravind eye hospital in Coimbatore.

She has published papers regarding trabeculectomy. micropulse laser in leading journals and presented papers in various national conferences. She has mentored post graduates and fellows and is actively involved in the academic programme at Rajan eye care.She believes in empathetic patient care and is committed to managing and preventing needless blindness due to glaucoma.
